Even with all the advances of modern dentistry, your teeth may not last forever. We, at Dental Sopron can however, offer many options for replacing lost or extracted teeth. One such option are cosmetic dentures.

A removable partial denture is suggested for patients who cannot have a bridge (a fixed partial denture) for any number of reasons, such as a lack of required teeth to serve as support for a bridge or due to financial limitations.

Some of the cases we need the removable restoration for the healing period after the implantation. We complete the treatment with the final restoration when the dental implants fully integrated with the new bone structure.

Complete dentures or full dentures are worn by patients who are missing all of the teeth in a single arch (i.e. the maxillary (upper) or mandibular (lower) arch). We place 4-6 dental implants by a single procedure. These implants provide sufficient stability for the denture to remain anchored even during intense chewing or speech.

There is no need to prepare a new denture for the implants if the old denture is suitable (in terms of primary stability, extension, base plate, height of bite). In some cases, the old denture can be converted.

Denture care

Daily cleaning of dentures is recommended. Plaque and tartar can build up on false teeth, just as they do on natural teeth. Cleaning can be done by chemical or mechanical denture cleaners. Usage of chemical denture cleaners suggested once or twice a week.
